The official residence of the President of France is the Élysée Palace. It is located in Paris, on the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in the 8th arrondissement, near the Champs-Élysées. The palace was completed in 1722 and has been the official presidential residence since 1873. It also serves as the meeting place of the Council of Ministers, which is presided over by the President of the Republic.
