who created veggie tales

VeggieTales was created by Phil Vischer and Mike Nawrocki. They founded Big Idea Entertainment and developed the series, which features talking vegetables like Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber to teach biblical values and life lessons to children using CGI animation. The idea originated in the early 1990s, with Vischer starting by testing animation software and choosing vegetables as characters because they were simpler to animate than humans. Both creators also voiced many of the characters on the show.
