who did chris brown hit with a bottle

Chris Brown allegedly hit music producer Abe Diaw with a bottle at the Tape nightclub in London's Mayfair in February 2023. Brown is accused of smashing a tequila bottle over Diaw's head multiple times and then further assaulting him by punching and kicking him while he was on the floor. Diaw required hospitalization and crutches after the incident and subsequently filed a lawsuit against Brown for damages. Brown was arrested in Manchester in May 2025 on suspicion of grievous bodily harm related to this attack and has been charged accordingly
