Philip Rivers played almost his entire NFL career for the Chargers franchise and finished with one season for the Indianapolis Colts.
NFL teams
- Rivers was drafted in 2004 by the New York Giants but was immediately traded on draft day to the San Diego Chargers, where he played quarterback for the Chargers organization (San Diego, then Los Angeles) from 2004 through 2019.
- He then signed with and played his final NFL season for the Indianapolis Colts in 2020 before retiring in early 2021.
