who invented zoom

Zoom was invented and founded by Eric Yuan in April 2011. Eric Yuan, a former Cisco engineer and executive, left Cisco with a team of engineers to create Zoom because he wanted to develop a more user-friendly, reliable, and efficient video conferencing platform. The first beta version was launched in 2012, and the full version was officially released in January 2013.
