Andrew Hastie is an Australian politician and former military officer, currently serving as the Shadow Minister for Home Affairs since May 2025. He has been the Member of Parliament for the Division of Canning in Western Australia since winning the 2015 by-election. Before entering politics, Hastie served as an officer in the Australian Defence Force, including as a troop commander in the elite Special Air Service Regiment (SASR).
