Charlie Kirk (October 14, 1993 – September 10, 2025) was an American conservative political activist, author, and media personality. He co-founded Turning Point USA (TPUSA) in 2012, a conservative student organization that grew to have a significant presence on high school and college campuses across the U.S. He was a prominent voice in the populist MAGA movement, known for his far-right political views and strong support for Donald Trump. Kirk was also CEO of Turning Point Action and affiliated with the Council for National Policy. He was involved in controversial campaigns such as the Professor Watchlist, opposing gun control, abortion, and LGBTQ rights, and promoting Christian nationalism and various conspiracy theories. Kirk was tragically shot and killed on September 10, 2025, while speaking at a public event on a university campus in Utah. The shooting triggered a manhunt for the suspect. Throughout his career, Kirk was known for his media presence, books, and political activism influencing conservative youth in America.
