Glen Powell is an American actor, producer, and screenwriter born on October 21, 1988, in Austin, Texas. He began his career with small roles on television and in films such as "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over" (2003) and "Fast Food Nation" (2006). Powell gained wider recognition for his role in the Fox comedy-horror series "Scream Queens" (2015–2016) and for portraying astronaut John Glenn in "Hidden Figures" (2016). He became widely known for his role as Lieutenant Jake "Hangman" Seresin in "Top Gun: Maverick" (2022) and starred in "Anyone But You" (2023). Powell also co-wrote and produced the dark comedy "Hit Man" (2023), which earned him a Golden Globe nomination. He continues to be active in film and television, with recent projects including the disaster film "Twisters" (2024).
