Mark Sanchez is a former NFL quarterback who played for 10 seasons, most notably with the New York Jets. He was born on November 11, 1986, and played college football at the University of Southern California (USC), where he led the team to a Rose Bowl victory. Sanchez was drafted fifth overall in the 2009 NFL Draft by the Jets, leading them to AFC Championship Games in his first two seasons. He also played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears, and Washington Redskins before retiring in 2019. After retiring, he transitioned into a broadcasting career, currently working as a college football analyst and NFL game analyst for Fox Sports.
Recently, Sanchez was involved in a legal incident where he was stabbed during a confrontation in Indianapolis. He was charged with several misdemeanors related to the incident but remains in stable condition.
