Sam Vanderpump is a British entrepreneur and reality TV star best known for his role in the show Made in Chelsea. He is the nephew of Lisa Vanderpump, a well-known reality TV personality from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Sam was born on March 8, 1997, in London, England. He started kart racing professionally at age 8 but later transitioned to working in family businesses and then finance, including roles as an FX trader and sales director. He co- founded currency exchange companies Orbis Exchange Group and Vanderpump FX, and is also managing director and CEO of Dapio, a PayTech startup. In 2024, Sam faced a near-death experience with sepsis caused by a genetic condition leading to liver and kidney failure, from which he recovered. This experience motivated him to become an ambassador for the UK Sepsis Trust and to raise awareness about sepsis and related health issues. He proposed to his girlfriend Alice Yaxley after his recovery. Sam joined Made in Chelsea in 2024 after previously declining offers due to timing and personal business reasons.
