The current head coach of UCLA's football team is Tim Skipper, who was named interim head coach on September 14, 2025. He took over after the firing of DeShaun Foster earlier that month. Prior to becoming interim head coach, Skipper served as special assistant to the head coach earlier in the season. Skipper has a long coaching career and recently led Fresno State as their interim head coach before joining UCLA in this role.
There are also rising buzz and discussions about Jerry Neuheisel making a case for the permanent head coach position at UCLA after his successful play- calling debut in October 2025, but as of now, Tim Skipper remains the interim head coach.
