The Mission LIFE (Lifestyle for Environment) was launched by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The launch event took place in the presence of the United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres at the Statue of Unity, Ekta Nagar, Gujarat. This mission aims to encourage responsible and environment-friendly lifestyles among individuals to protect and preserve the environment. It was first proposed by the Prime Minister at COP26 in Glasgow in 2021 and envisions creating a global mass movement to promote sustainable living and combat climate change through individual and collective action.
