The educational assessment tool i-Ready was developed by the company Curriculum Associates. The program was created between 2009 and 2011 under the leadership of Rob Waldron, former president of Score!, who led the development of this adaptive diagnostic and instructional tool designed for K-8 students. Curriculum Associates has been a trusted education provider for decades and created i-Ready as part of their mission to make classrooms better places for students and teachers through data-driven, personalized instruction. The company originally started in 1969, founded by educators, and expanded into digital education, launching i-Ready as an online diagnostic and instruction program aligned with Common Core and state standards.
