who made red fort

The Red Fort was made by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. He commissioned its construction on May 12, 1639, after deciding to shift the Mughal capital from Agra to Delhi. The fort's architecture is attributed to Ustad Ahmad Lahori, the same architect who designed the Taj Mahal. Construction began in 1638 and completed in 1648.
