who owns abc?

The American Broadcasting Company (ABC) is owned by the Walt Disney Company. Disney acquired ABC in 1996 when it bought Capital Cities/ABC Inc., the previous parent company of ABC. Since then, ABC has functioned as a division of Disney's entertainment division.
