Balenciaga is owned by the French multinational luxury goods company Kering. Kering also owns other luxury brands such as Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, and Bottega Veneta. Kering acquired Balenciaga in 2001 and has since managed it as one of its key luxury fashion houses.
