Boots is currently owned by Sycamore Partners, a private equity firm. Sycamore Partners acquired Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA), the parent company of Boots UK, in a deal valued at about $23.7 billion announced in early 2025. This acquisition made Boots a standalone private company under the new parent company called The Boots Group. The transaction is expected to finalize in late 2025, with Boots continuing to operate under its trusted brand.
