Magnum ice cream is owned by The Magnum Ice Cream Company, which was formerly part of Unilever. As of July 1, 2025, The Magnum Ice Cream Company began operating as a standalone business within Unilever and is in the process of being fully separated and spun off as an independent, publicly listed company by late 2025. Unilever will retain a minority stake of less than 20% in the company for up to five years during the transition. The new entity, The Magnum Ice Cream Company, will include some of Unilever's iconic ice cream brands such as Magnum, Ben & Jerry's, Cornetto, and Heartbrand, and will be headquartered in the Netherlands with shares listed in Amsterdam, London, and New York.
