Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege (Siege) is owned by Ubisoft, a French video game publisher. In 2025, Ubisoft created a new subsidiary dedicated to some of its most popular franchises, including Rainbow Six Siege. Tencent, a large multimedia and gaming company based in China, invested €1.16 billion for a 25% minority economic interest in this new subsidiary, but Ubisoft retains full control and ownership of the subsidiary and the Siege franchise.
