Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege (Siege) is owned by Ubisoft, a French video game publisher. In 2025, Ubisoft created a new subsidiary dedicated to some of its most popular franchises, including Rainbow Six Siege. Tencent, a large multimedia and gaming company based in China, invested €1.16 billion for a 25% minority economic interest in this new subsidiary, but Ubisoft retains full control and ownership of the subsidiary and the Siege franchise. Thus, Ubisoft remains the primary owner and controlling entity of Siege, with Tencent holding a significant investment stake in the subsidiary that manages it, but not full ownership of the game or Ubisoft itself.
