Superdrug is owned by AS Watson (Health & Beauty UK) Limited, which is part of the A.S. Watson Group. The A.S. Watson Group itself is a subsidiary of the Hong Kong conglomerate CK Hutchison Holdings. Superdrug became part of AS Watson following the acquisition of Kruidvat BV in October 2002. AS Watson owns several health and beauty brands and operates extensively in the UK and other countries.
