Tango is owned by Britvic, a British soft drinks company. Britvic acquired the Tango brand in 1987. Since July 2024, Britvic itself is owned by the Carlsberg Group, a Danish company, following Carlsberg's acquisition of Britvic. Therefore, Tango is now part of Carlsberg Britvic, a business formed from Carlsberg's UK operations and Britvic in January 2025. Britvic remains the subsidiary managing Tango within this group.
