The Conjuring House was owned by Jacqueline Nuñez, who bought it in May 2022 and operated it as a paranormal tourist attraction. However, due to financial issues and erratic behavior, she lost her entertainment license, and the property went into foreclosure. Recently, the scheduled auction for the house on October 31, 2025, was canceled because the house was sold privately by Needham Bank, which held the mortgage. The identity of the new owner has not been publicly disclosed as of now.
It is also important to clarify that another house related to the Conjuring universe—the Warren family home and Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut—was bought by comedian Matt Rife, but this is a different property from the Conjuring House in Rhode Island.
