WWE is owned by TKO Group Holdings, the company created when WWE was merged with UFC under Endeavor’s umbrella in 2023.
Current corporate owner
TKO Group Holdings is the parent company that owns and operates WWE today. TKO was formed as a sports and entertainment group combining WWE and UFC into a single publicly traded entity.
Who controls TKO
A controlling stake in TKO is held by Endeavor (now part of a privately held group backed by Silver Lake), which gives it effective control over WWE. Ari Emanuel serves as CEO of both Endeavor and TKO, with Mark Shapiro as president/COO and Nick Khan as president of WWE.
Role of the McMahon family
The McMahon family no longer holds majority control of WWE and now owns only minority stakes in TKO. Vince McMahon’s share has been reduced to only a small single‑digit percentage of TKO stock, with Stephanie and Linda McMahon holding even smaller positions.
