The 2024 Brownlow Medal was won by Patrick Cripps from Carlton. He achieved a record-breaking total of 45 votes, which is the highest ever under the 3–2–1 voting system. This was Cripps' second Brownlow Medal, having previously won it in 2022. He surpassed previous record holders with a significant margin, with the runner-up Nick Daicos from Collingwood polling 38 votes and Zak Butters from Port Adelaide coming third with 29 votes. Cripps also set a record by polling an average of 1.96 votes per game throughout the season.
