However, in alternative national events, Iceland was celebrated as a winner by one popular fan vote, and Lithuania's band The Roop won a German alternative show for Eurovision 2020.
For official Eurovision winners, the contest resumed in 2021 with Italy winning, but there was no official Eurovision 2020 winner.
