Also, if the called person has blocked the caller on WhatsApp, the caller will not be able to initiate calls while receiving calls is not possible in that scenario either.
- WhatsApp Call Restrictions: Firewall or router settings on the caller’s network might block WhatsApp calls, preventing outgoing calls but allowing incoming ones.
The most common solutions to this problem include ensuring a stable internet connection, updating WhatsApp, verifying app permissions for microphone and camera, checking for any blocking by the called person or in phone contacts, and confirming local restrictions on WhatsApp calls based on the region. If the inability to call is specific to a region like UAE or Russia, the government's telecom rules or internet controls on WhatsApp calls could be the primary cause. Otherwise, checking permissions, blocking status, and network stability usually resolves the issue.
