why did ronnie radke go to prison

Ronnie Radke went to prison because he violated probation that was given to him after a 2006 altercation in Las Vegas. During this fight, a friend of his shot and killed a man, and although Radke did not fire the gun, he pleaded guilty to battery with substantial bodily harm and to carrying brass knuckles, which were illegal. He was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to pay restitution but later violated the probation terms by failing to report to his probation officer. This violation led to him being sentenced to two and a half years in prison in 2008. At that time, he was the lead singer of the band Escape the Fate, who fired him after his prison sentence was announced. While in prison, Radke started planning the formation of a new band, Falling in Reverse, which he pursued after his release in 2010.
