The woman who discovered radiation is Marie Curie. She was a pioneering physicist and chemist who conducted groundbreaking research on radioactive substances, discovering the elements polonium and radium in 1898. She coined the term "radioactivity" and was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, as well as the first person to win Nobel Prizes in two different scientific fields (Physics in 1903 and Chemistry in 1911) for her work on radiation and radioactive elements.
