The amount of money you will get from the Facebook settlement depends on how long you were an active Facebook user between May 2007 and December 2022. Payments are calculated based on a point system where each month of active use earns one point.
- The average payment is about $29.42 to $29.43.
- The minimum payment is around $4.89.
- The maximum payment is capped at about $38.36 for users who had active accounts throughout the entire settlement period (188 months).
If you were a user for the full period, you would receive the maximum payout. If your active months were fewer, your payment will be proportionally less. Notifications about approval and payments are sent via email, and payments are being distributed in waves over a 75-day or 10-week period starting September 2025.
