The new updated COVID-19 vaccines for the fall and winter 2023 season were made available starting mid-September 2023. The vaccines are available broadly, often for free through health insurance or government programs, and are part of an annual vaccination approach alongside flu and RSV vaccines. This makes the updated COVID-19 vaccine available for the fall of 2023 officially starting from around mid-September 2023 onward.
