Andrew James Whitworth is a retired American professional football player who played as an offensive tackle in the NFL for 16 seasons. He spent 11 seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals and the last 5 with the Los Angeles Rams. Whitworth was known for his longevity, retiring as the oldest tackle in NFL history and the oldest offensive lineman to win a Super Bowl. He was a four- time Pro Bowler and two-time first-team All-Pro, finishing his career by winning Super Bowl LVI with the Rams. He played college football at LSU, where he received several All-American honors and set an LSU record with 52 career starts. Besides football, Whitworth has also appeared in media as an actor and contributor to NFL programming. After retiring, he became involved in community work, particularly addressing homelessness in Los Angeles. He was honored as the 2021 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year for his contributions on and off the field.
