Cats cannot see pink as humans do. Due to their limited color vision, lacking red-sensitive cone cells in their retinas, pink appears to them as a dull or muddy gray shade. They primarily see colors in the blue, green, and yellow spectrum, while reds, pinks, and other warm hues appear muted or grayish to them. This limited color perception is similar to red-green color blindness in humans and does not affect their superior night vision and motion detection abilities.
