The Elden Ring is an action RPG game that takes place in the Lands Between, sometime after the Shattering of the titular Elden Ring. The game has multiple endings, and each ending is shaped by the players choices and influence on The Lands Betweens denizens. There is no clear good, bad, or true ending due to the ambiguity of the game. The endings page and guide are a work in progress by the community, and this information is subject to change as more nuance is discovered and lore is weaved together. As of now, there are six Elden Ring endings that we know of, and four of them are just variants of the standard Elden Lord ending, with another two being much more radical and unique. The endings are:

  • Elden Lord Ending: The player needs to decide whether they want to repair the Elden Ring and try to continue the established order, or shatter it entirely and usher in a new age.

  • Dung Eater’s Ending: The player allies with the Dung Eater and becomes the new ruler of the Lands Between.

  • Gold Mask’s Ending: The player allies with the Gold Mask and becomes the new ruler of the Lands Between.

  • Ranni’s Ending: The player allies with Ranni and becomes the new ruler of the Lands Between.

  • Lord of Frenzied Flame Ending: The player becomes the new ruler of the Lands Between by defeating the Lord of Frenzied Flame.

  • Secret Ending: Margit the Fell extinguishes thy meagre flame, or ye tarnished simply admire the Erd Tree in all its glory.

It is worth noting that no ending in the game is truly good or bad, and it all depends on the players point of view.
