DC Young Fly's wife, Jacky Oh, passed away due to complications from cosmetic surgery. She underwent a gluteal augmentation procedure (commonly known as a butt lift) in Miami and developed complications including swelling in her brain and bleeding of the skin around her torso. She was found unresponsive and later died at a hospital. Her death was ruled accidental by the medical examiner, and there were no signs of foul play.
