Despite being discharged from the hospital, Giuffre struggled with significant physical and emotional pain. Her family described her as a fierce warrior against sexual abuse and sex trafficking and stated that the burden of abuse became unbearable for her. Her death was not ruled suspicious by her Australia-based attorney, though her father expressed doubts about the suicide conclusion. Giuffre was a prominent accuser against Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, known for exposing a sex trafficking ring.
