There are currently three Prime Days (or Prime Day events) in a year as of 2025:
- The original Prime Day event, which in 2025 was held from July 8 to July 11, lasting four days instead of the usual two.
- The Prime Big Deal Days event, also called Fall Prime Day, which takes place in early October, with the 2025 event on October 7-8.
- Additionally, Amazon held a Big Spring Sale in March 2025, which included exclusive deals for Prime members, contributing to the total count of Prime sale events in the year.
Thus, Prime Day-themed sales events now occur three times a year. Previously, Prime Day was held only once a year until 2022, when a second event in October was introduced, and in 2024 a spring event was added.
