There are 4 simple keys in Hollow Knight. These keys are used to unlock doors with simple locks and break after a single use. The four simple keys can be obtained from the following locations:
- Purchased from shopkeeper Sly in Dirtmouth for 950 Geo
- Found in the City of Tears, near the City Storerooms stag station
- Found in the Ancient Basin, inside a Mawlurk corpse near a large dead creature
- Obtained by killing the Pale Lurker in a hidden area behind the Colosseum of Fools
Each key is required to unlock corresponding simple locked doors in the game.
