Chelsea paid £32 million (about €37 million) to sign Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal in 2023. This is the amount Chelsea initially paid for Jackson when they acquired him. More recently, Chelsea agreed to loan Jackson to Bayern Munich for a season with a loan fee of €15 million (about £13 million). Bayern has an option to buy Jackson permanently for €65 million (about £56.2 million), which if exercised, would bring the total package value to around €80 million (about £69 million), including the loan fee and a sell-on clause.
