PVAMU Parking provides a safe, well-maintained parking infrastructure ensuring equitable parking for the PVAMU community. Here are some details about PVAMU parking:
Permits
- All visitors, students (commuter and residential), staff, faculty, vendors, and contractors must have a valid parking permit while parked on the PVAMU campus.
- Registrants can register up to five vehicles on campus.
- Permits are the property of PVAMU and are issued to a specific registrant. Citations issued to the permit are the owner’s responsibility.
- Permits may not be resold or transferred between individuals.
- Faculty and staff are eligible to use payroll deduction as a pre-tax deduction to pay off the full balance of their parking permit over the course of the academic year.
Parking Zones
- There are five parking zones at PVAMU designated by color.
- Students who reside on PVAMU campus must stay parked at their residences from the hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (Green permits). Exception; residents may park at the laundry, the Zone, or the Plaza to conduct business. Lot #95 is designated for additional resident parking.
- Motorcycles may park only in specially designated motorcycle-only parking spaces (when marked) .
Visitor Parking
- All vehicles parked on campus must display a valid PVAMU parking permit. Visitor permits are only good for one day. If you plan to be with us longer, please visit the Parking Management Office to purchase a permit.
Disability Parking
- Employees, Faculty, Staff & Student Commuters may park in any designated disabled parking space on campus, but must register and have a valid.
