Seán McGirr is the new creative director of Alexander McQueen. He is an Irish designer who studied at Central Saint Martins in London and previously worked as a womenswear designer at Dries Van Noten. McGirrs MA graduate collection at Central Saint Martins included white denim marred with ballpoint pen scribbles, and he loves working with denim because it can be “reworked and reworked and reworked” .
