- Water-based adhesive: Holds the 2-ply product together, the product to the cardboard core and keeps the end of the roll secure before the first use. These types of adhesives are used in various applications and are typical of materials used in food thickening and pharmaceuticals.
- Conditioners: Added to improve the overall experience of the product. For example, conditioners may improve softness or strength.
- Lotion: Contains mineral oil, cetearyl alcohol, paraffin/wax, steareth-2. Added to improve the overall experience of the product.
- Fragrance: Charmin Ultra Gentle contains an apple, herbal scent used in fruity and citrus fragrances for its light apple, pear aroma. Other Charmin products may contain undisclosed fragrances.
