Boots is closing down 300 stores across the UK by the end of 2023 as part of a plan to consolidate its stores. The closures will only affect shops that are nearby to another Boots site. As of October 6, 2023, the following Boots stores have been confirmed for closing:
- Front Street, Prudhoe
- Glastonbury
- Guildford Road, Woking
- Gorleston, Great Yarmouth
- Holywell, Flintshire
- Jardine Crescent, Coventry
- Upper Warrengate, Wakefield
- Windhill Road, Wakefield
In addition, seven Boots stores have already closed:
- Church Street, Malvern
- Hamlet Court Road, Westcliff-on-Sea
- Heathside Road, Woking
- King William Street, London
- Salford Shopping Centre, Greater Manchester
- The Port Arcades Shopping Centre, Ellesmere
- University of East Anglia Campus
Boots has said that all team members from these stores will be offered alternative roles.
