If youre planning to attend the Austin City Limits (ACL) Music Festival, its important to know what items are allowed and prohibited. Here are some items that are allowed at ACL:
- Clear bags made of clear plastic, clear vinyl, or clear PVC which do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
- Small clutch purses and fanny packs that are 6" x 9" or smaller
- Empty reusable bottles, hydration packs, and plastic or aluminum water bottles
- Sunscreen in non-aerosol containers that are 3.4 ounces or less
- Over the counter medications in limited amounts
- Baby strollers, frisbees, chairs, binoculars, blankets, sheets, and towels
Here are some items that are prohibited at ACL:
- Outside food and beverages of any kind, including alcohol
- Glass containers and coolers
- Wagons, carts, hammocks, tents, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, and any personal motorized vehicles
- Hammocks, tents, canopies, or shade structures of any kind
- Pets, unless they are service animals
- Aerosol containers of any kind
- Illegal and illicit substances, weapons, fireworks, explosives of any kind, large chains, and spiked jewelry
Remember that all bags will be searched before entry, so plan accordingly. Its also important to bring an empty water bottle to refill and protect yourself from the sun.
