The dinosaur with 500 teeth is called Nigersaurus. It was a rebbachisaurid sauropod dinosaur that lived about 115 to 105 million years ago, in the Cretaceous period. Its skull was characterized by an unusually broad, straight-edged muzzle tipped with more than 500 replaceable teeth. The teeth were arranged in dental batteries, with 68 columns in the upper jaws and 60 columns in the lower jaws, comprising a total of more than 500 active and replacement teeth.
