The Copper Golem in Minecraft is a helpful mob designed for item sorting and organization. It is summoned by placing a carved pumpkin on top of a copper block, which also spawns a copper chest. The Copper Golem will take items from nearby copper chests and sort them by placing items into regular or trapped chests around the base. It can carry up to 16 items at a time and will attempt to place items in up to 10 chests in sequence based on matching item types. If it fully oxidizes, it turns into a Copper Golem Statue block. The golem can also drop 1 to 3 copper ingots when killed and will drop any held item if interacted with an empty hand. It moves and operates within a certain range around itself (32 blocks horizontally and 8 vertically) to find chests for sorting items.
