Walker played the role of Brian OConner in all of these movies, except for The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), where he did not appear. He reprised his role as Brian OConner in Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6 after a seven-year hiatus from the franchise. He completed most of his role as Brian OConner in Furious 7 before his untimely death in 2013, and the films closing scenes paid tribute to him.
