Former NFL running back Kevin Faulk has suffered the tragic loss of two daughters in recent years. His most recent loss involved his older daughter, Tanasha, and in 2021 he also lost his younger daughter, Kevione.
Recent daughter’s death
Reports state that Kevin Faulk’s 30-year-old daughter, Tanasha Faulk, died unexpectedly on December 6, 2025, at a hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana. The cause of death has not been publicly disclosed, but local reporting notes that no foul play is suspected.
Obituaries and news coverage describe Tanasha as a devoted mother and family- centered person who leaves behind three young daughters and a longtime partner, along with Kevin, his wife Latisha, and her siblings. Funeral services are scheduled in mid-December 2025 in the Carencro/Lafayette area where the family has long roots.
Earlier loss of Kevione
This tragedy comes four years after the death of Faulk’s younger daughter, 19-year-old Kevione Faulk, in September 2021. She was a student worker with the LSU football program at the time, and the university publicly expressed condolences while asking that the family’s privacy be respected.
News and obituary reports note that the Faulk family also previously lost an infant son, Kevin Jr., meaning Tanasha’s death is the third major loss of a child for Kevin and his wife. Coverage consistently emphasizes the family’s grief and the support they are receiving from the LSU and New England Patriots communities.
