A desktop computer is a personal computer designed for regular use at a stationary location on or near a desk due to its size and power requirements. It is a computing device designed to fit on top of a typical office desk and houses the physical hardware that makes a computer run. A desktop computer includes the processor, motherboard, disk storage, and other components that are generally standardized on Advanced Technology eXtended (ATX), microATX or Balanced Technology eXtended form factors.
