SSC MTS stands for Staff Selection Commission Multitasking Staff. It is a national-level exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for selecting candidates in General Central Service Group-C non-gazetted, non-ministerial posts in various ministries, departments, and offices of the Government of India. The exam consists of a Computer Based Examination (Objective test) . The SSC MTS exam pattern is decided by the commission itself and any changes in the exam pattern are intimated to candidates through official notice. The exam is conducted for two papers – SSC MTS Paper I and SSC MTS Paper-II. The SSC MTS exam is conducted every year at various centers all across the country. The SSC MTS salary is a Group C non-gazetted, general Central Government service with pay band 1(5200 – 20200) + the Grade Pay of 1800 rupees.
