The G3 Conference is an annual event that focuses on sound biblical theology for the glory of God. It was started in 2013 by Dr. Josh Buice, the pastor of Pray’s Mill Baptist Church in Douglasville, Georgia, with the goal of investing in pastors and helping local churches. The conference has grown significantly since its inception, with attendance increasing from 750 people in 2013 to 6,500 in 2021. The G3 Conference is now one of the largest evangelical conferences in the United States.
In 2020, the G3 Conference transitioned into a 501(c)(3) organization under the name G3 Ministries. The organizations purpose is to educate, encourage, and equip local churches with sound biblical theology. The G3 Church Network was also launched in 2021, which aims to be a ministry connection point for pastors and local churches.
The G3 Conference features exceptional preachers like John MacArthur, Joel Beeke, Voddie Baucham, Steve Lawson, Tim Challies, Paul Washer, Derek Thomas, Phil Johnson, and others. The conference is primarily a preaching event that addresses various topics from multiple angles. The fellowship among attendees is also a significant benefit of the conference.
In addition to the G3 Conference, G3 Ministries also hosts other events and resources for the local church, such as the G3 Expository Preaching Workshop and the G3 Biblical Worship Workshop. The organization also has a YouTube channel that aims to encourage pastors and fellow Christians and strengthen local churches.
